Hi!
My name is Subbu and I build Chips for a living. I also write at systemverilog.io, a website that delves into the technical aspects of SoC/ASIC development.
In Chip Log you will find:
Behind the scenes: There are several websites dedicated to the technical aspects of Chip Development. But there’s a lot to be said from the stand point of an engineer — what’s going on in his/her mind as they perform their tasks, collaborate with their teams, and drive a project from architecture to tape-out. I intend to shed some light on this.
Stream of thought: In the process of engineering a Chip, I derive inspiration and realization from the volumes of books, articles and papers I read and learn from. Chip Log will be my workshop or playground, if you will, to help me hone my thoughts and develop these realizations to maturity. So, some of these posts might feel unsatisfyingly unfinished, but, that is the point.
Margin Notes: Additional thoughts and commentary as I develop full fledged articles for the main site systemverilog.io.
